At Alpro Foundation, we believe in the power of collaboration to change lives, and sometimes, the right partnership can make all the difference. We are incredibly proud and grateful to have support from Optisaver, whose generous support has not only improved the health and well-being of our students but has also empowered them to see the world—quite literally—with a clearer vision.

Through the Growing Stars Project, our mission is to ensure that no child is left behind on their educational journey due to financial hardship. We provide the resources and support these students need to thrive in school and beyond. But one challenge many of our students faced was their ability to see clearly. Good vision is crucial for learning, and many of our students have struggled with poor eyesight, affecting their academic performance and confidence.

That’s where Optisaver stepped in. Understanding that vision plays a critical role in a child’s success, Optisaver generously offered to sponsor eye check-ups and for every 10 pairs of glasses sold, Optisaver generously donates a free pair to our Growing Stars students. Thanks to this incredible support, dozens of students who struggled to see the blackboard or read their textbooks now have a new perspective—one that is much sharper and brighter.

This collaboration has been life-changing for many of our students. During the free eye check-ups provided by Optisaver, we discovered that some students had been dealing with undiagnosed vision problems for years. Without the financial means to seek treatment, these children had adapted to poor vision, not realizing how much their sight was impacting their ability to learn.

With their new pairs of glasses, these students have reported significant improvements in their academic performance. They can now read more easily, focus better in class, and participate more actively in lessons. Beyond academics, these students have regained confidence. No longer hindered by blurry vision, they can pursue their dreams with a clearer sense of purpose and direction.

We cannot thank Optisaver enough for their unwavering support. Their commitment to helping students achieve their best extends beyond just providing eyewear—it’s about giving these children a renewed sense of hope and opportunity. For many of our students, this gesture symbolizes that there are people out there who believe in them, who care about their success, and who are willing to invest in their future.
