Every week, we gather for a brief but powerful 10-15 minutes, where we connect with students from diverse backgrounds, all united by one common goal: the desire to overcome financial hardships and achieve their dreams. These kids are not just students—they’re fighters, each with a unique story, and each determined to write their own success story, despite the challenges life has thrown their way.
Understanding that vision plays a critical role in a child’s success, Optisaver generously offered to sponsor eye check-ups and for every 10 pairs of glasses sold, Optisaver donates a free pair to our Growing Stars students. Thanks to this incredible support, dozens of students who struggled to see the blackboard or read their textbooks now have a new perspective—one that is much sharper and brighter.

On September 12, 2024, the Alpro Foundation team visited the Orang Bateq village in Taman Negara, providing vital healthcare services and distributing multivitamins, deworm tablets, and cough mixtures. The team also shared joyful moments with the children through games and a basic Mandarin lesson, creating lasting connections. This outreach brought essential support and hope to the community.
