Founded in December 2014 by Pharmacist Low Swee Siong, Pharmacist Hiew Fei Tsong and Ms. Chia Ling Ling from Alpro Pharmacy Sdn.Bhd, our mission extends beyond business- it's about reaching out, helping, and uplifting those in need.

It speaks to the idea of offering not only tangible support but also inspiring optimism and providing opportunities that can lead to meaningful, lasting change. At Alpro Foundation, "Bringing Hope, Changing Lives" is more than just a slogan; it defines the very essence of our work. Through initiatives like the Growing Stars Project, our foundation not only provides educational resources to underprivileged children but also instills a sense of hope and possibility for their future. For families struggling with the rising cost of living, projects like Metabolic Basic Sponsorship Programme offer health support, alleviating some of their burdens.
Our primary focus is on supporting students through The Growing Stars Project, dedicated to support the educational development of underprivileged children. By providing essential resources such as school supplies and scholarships, the project ensures that children from struggling families can pursue their academic dreams despite financial hardships. With a goal to assist 350 students by the end of 2024. To support this, we are launching The Alpro Foundation Fund Race Project 2024, raising RM250,000 through events like t-shirt and bottle bundle sales. In collaboration with Optisaver, we are also sponsoring students for eye check-ups and new spectacles, helping them achieve better vision for a better learning experience.
We believe in holistic support for communities. Our Metabolic Basic Program offers subsidies for families facing financial hardship due to the costs of tube feeding, helping them manage monthly expenses ranging from RM1,500 to RM2,000. Currently, we support over 160 families with loved ones needing oral nutritional support (ONS).
